block and rates. You cannot book through a website.

Reservations office is open Monday-Saturday 8:30am-5:00pm eastern.

NOTE: Rooms must be reserved by 4/9/19 to take advantage of the negotiated rate.

Room Rates: Room rates apply to single or double occupancy. Room rates are
subject to applicable taxes and fees, currently 17.5%.

Room Reservation Policies: Individual reservations must be confirmed and guaranteed with a $100.00 room deposit. Should a reservation be canceled, the deposit is refundable if notice is received 7 days prior to the day of arrival. Within
7 days of arrival, individuals will be charged the full amount of the reservation should they cancel any rooms booked.

Wilderness Hall Access: Access to Wilderness Hall, bathing area, & wilderness registration will be after Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday May 12th.

Check-in/Check-out Times: Check-in time is 4:00 PM. Check-out time is before 11:00 AM. We ask that you honor our 11:00 AM Check-out time on day of departure or a half day rate will be assessed to the individual folio. After 6:00 PM a full day’s revenue will be charged. Guest Services can arrange to check
baggage for those arriving early and for those attending functions on
their day of departure.

Guest Room Rental Items: Based on availability the rental of Roll away beds, cribs, and refrigerators. These items will be rented for a nightly fee. Roll away
beds for $15 per night. Refrigerators are $10.00 per night. Children’s
cribs are complementary to our guests.

R.V. Parking:  (50 spaces blocked)

Parking is $400.00 / all week with water and electric 50 amp, 30 amps, and 110 electric power stands (DCA will collect this amount or more from RV owners and pay above fee to Lodge …no taxes charged here) .

If only a few days, it’s $70.00/ per night.

Cost for pump out (Honey wagon service) will be extra.

Golf Cart Rentals: Rental golf carts are $40.00/day. Pick up at 8:00 am and return pm to recharge.

Crating: Blue Heron will be available for grooming and crating.


Welcome to the Sawmill Creek Resort. Through the understanding of the hotel
management we are being allowed to be here as their guests with our Dalmatians.
We would like to be invited to return. Therefore, please observe the following

Immediately after checking in, make a thorough check of your room and report any damages to the front desk as well as the Show Chair. Make sure you do this so that you will not be held responsible for any preexisting damage. This is for your protection as well as that of DCA and the Hotel.

Hotel housekeeping staff will inspect rooms daily and will report any and all problems to the Show Chair.

You will be held financially responsible for any damage to the room or its furnishings. Respect your room and keep it clean and orderly. We must respect and keep hotels clean if we expect to be allowed to continue using hotels for our shows.

 A one-time $50.00 non-refundable dog inspection room fee will be charged.
 Maximum of 4 dogs per room.
 All dogs must be registered upon check-in. No Exceptions
 No bathing of dogs in the hotel rooms whatsoever.
 No puppies under 4 months in the hotel rooms whatsoever.
 Dogs must be crated when owners are not in attendance. No exceptions will be made.
 Protect the carpeting by placing crates on plastic sheeting.
 Please do not affix any signs, photos or anything else to the hotel room doors or walls.
 Please use the door hanger provided when you are away from the room and your dog is inside the room.
 When walking in the hallways or public areas of the hotel your dog must be under control and on leash.
Be very careful in the use of Flexi-leads. Do not allow your dog to freely approach anyone. Remember
that others may not be dog people or, even if they are, may not want your dog to approach them.
 You are responsible for cleaning up after your own dogs. The Show Committee will set up designated dog
exercise stations and signs indicating these areas. These are the only areas where dogs may be exercised.
 Excessively or senselessly barking dogs in or out of rooms must be quieted by the owner or they will be
removed to another location by the Show Committee if the owner cannot be located. This will be

The AKC considers the Host Hotel and motor homes to be part of the show site. And, therefore, any violations of good and responsible dog show conduct can be brought before an Event Show Committee. The guidelines shown above will be considered “published show rules”.
Transgressions will not be tolerated.

Dalmatian Club of America Standing Rule Policy: Any exhibitor who allows his/her dogs to be loose and unattended in the room or to damage hotel property, and who then does not immediately contact the hotel management to make proper restitution will be subject to Event Show Committee action which could result in the loss of AKC (DCA) privileges.
